Half-Life: Alyx PC Game is 2020 a virtual reality (VR) 1st-person shooter video game that developed & published by Valve. It is the Set between the previous events of Half-Life (1998) & Half-Life 2 (2004). The players control the Alyx Vance on the mission to seize a superweapon belonging to alien Combine.
In this game, players use VR for interacting with the environment to get feel realistic while fight enemies. They are using “gravity gloves” for manipulating objects, which similar to the previous gravity gun from the Half-Life 2 Video game. The traditional Half-Life games element return, as like the physics puzzles, exploration, combat, and survival horror elements.
In the previous game of Half-Life, Episode 2, was released in 2007. And after failed several attempts to developing further projects of Half-Life. Valve has begun experimenting with VR in the mid-2010s. Then released the collections of VR minigames. Recognizing the demand for large-scale VR games, they already experimented with several prototypes using various intellectual properties, as like the Portal.
Alyx game entered entire production uses Valve’s new Source two engine in 2016. Valve initially planned for launching Alyx alongside this game’s Index VR headset in 2019. But it delayed rewriting the whole story from scratch that following internal feedback.

Which include HTC Vive, Valve Index, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and entire Windows Mixed with the Reality headsets. The game-play has designed based on VR, but Valve stated that there were no plans for a non-VR version.
