Stardew Valley PC Game is a role-playing indie farming simulation video game. Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone developed this game and published by Chucklefish. This game released in February 2016 for Microsoft Windows. In later of that year with ports for the OS X, PlayStation 4, Linux and Xbox One released. For Nintendo Switch port released in October 2017 & PlayStation Vita port which is expected in 2018.
In this game, player takes role of a character which is to get away from hustle of office job and takes over grandfather’s dilapidated farm in the place which known as Stardew Valley. Player manages character’s time and also energy levels as like they clear land, plant. And tend crops, craft goods, mine for ores, raise livestock & engage in the social activities. Which including the romances leading towards the marriage, with various residents of small town. All while earning in the game money to expand on their farm. These game is an open-ended, that allowing player to take on the activities as they see fit.
The Stardew Valley heavily inspired by Harvest Moon (which now is called Story of Seasons) game series, with the additions by sole designer of Stardew Valley’s, Eric Barone. To the address some of shortcomings of the games while using opportunity as exercise to improve his programming and also game design skills. Stardew Valley have received positive reception from the critics, and it was one of the top selling titles on the Steam during it’s first few months after the release. After the release to consoles, these game has sold 3.5 million plus units by end of 2017. To be continuing to support the game, Barone had planed to include the co-operative play and also support for the other platforms.
