The Amazing Spider Man PC Game is an action-adventure video game, which based on the Marvel Comics character of Spider-Man, and a 2012 film of the same name. The game was developed by the developer Beenox and then published by Activision. The game was released on 26th June in North America and on 29th June 2012 in Europe, for Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, Android, iOS & Microsoft Windows. A version for Wii U was released on 5th March 2013 in North America & 8th March 2013 in Europe as The Amazing Spider Man Ultimate Edition in both regions in Spring 2013, then the PlayStation Vita version released in November 2013.
This game was directed by Gerard Lehiany and was written by Seamus Kevin Fahey, Gérard Lehiany, and Benjamin Schertz. The game serves as an alternate epilogue to the Amazing Spider-Man film, which later seen in the sequel game revealed to be an alternate version of the movie.
The Nintendo 3DS & Wii version features different, more linear games with the same script & plot. This game does not feature an open-world environment, instead of following a style of an approach similar to that game of Star Wars The Force Unleashed PC Game, where the player selects level from a hub, in that case, Stan’s apartment, before he is playing a mostly linear level. Which was natively designed for 3DS & later ported to the Wii.
The game Amazing Spider-Man has an open world and free-roaming concept in this version. The combat system is reminiscent of Rocksteady Studios-developed Batman game series using a freeflow design & counterattacks. Beenox took a cue from Batman games, the head of Beenox, with Dee Brown. The Spider-Man character is really different than Batman. Here you’ve to approach both in different ways.
